Kristin Cavallari's debut book Balancing on Heels won't hit shelves for another 459 days, but this week, Kristin provided the public a chance to try balancing on her heels themselves. For free! Or rather, for the price of entering an Instagram contest.

Kristin alerted her followers to this opportunity on Thursday by posting a photo of herself wearing snakeskin-printed heels on Instagram with the caption, "Head over to @ChineseLaundry to learn how to win a pair of my Cyprus heels!"

Chinese Laundry listed the contest information thusly:
