Taking a page from the Jessica Biel playbook, Mackenzie Rosman—aka Ruthie Camden, the littlest eye-roller extraordinaire from 7th Heaven—has stripped down to her underwear (and chain mail apparently) for the latest issue of Maxim.

Rosman, 23, who has had bit parts in indie movies and ABC Family shows since the show shuttered in 2007, is still best known for her turn as the adorable preacher's daughter who is awful at singing the Star Spangled Banner and excellent at lying about losing her virginity.

The issue is out in September.

You people are acting like she was on this television show last week as opposed to almost a decade ago. Everyone grows up. A girl I went to high-school with was in Maxim a few years ago (she was also in Cosmo around the same time, they're "sibling" publications). I didn't shit all over her choice to be in the magazine because I had known her as a kid, I thought she looked great and wondered what i would see her in next. You all act like she's your kid or something, and even if she WAS, she's her own adult human being making her own adult choices. You go, Ruthie Camden.

But she's not twelve. She's 23. She's not dressing up as a child, she can't help that she's fresh faced. I mean I get it, but she's probably going to be baby faced for quite some time but that doesn't mean she can't pose in a lad mag if she sees fit because she is, after all, an adult.
