By now more than 30 women have come forward with sexual abuse allegations against Bill Cosby, however he assures us that he is "far from finished." In a statement released on Wednesday, Cosby thanked his fans for their continued support and said he looks forward to a standup set planned for this Friday in Louisiana.

The statement was released through Cosby's new handlers, Purpose PR, via Agence France-Presse:

Dear Fans: For 53 years you have given me your love, support, respect and trust. Thank you! I can't wait to see your smiling faces and warm your hearts with a wonderful gift — LAUGHTER. I'm ready!

I thank you, the theatre staff [Heymann Performing Arts Center], the event organizers and the Lafayette Community for your continued support and coming to experience family, fun entertainment.

Hey, Hey, Hey — I'm far from finished.

Sincerely, Bill Cosby

The queasily cheery statement follows a swath of cancellations for Cosby's comedy tour this month; the theater mentioned in the statement refers to the location of his show this Friday in Lafayette, Louisiana. Earlier this month, two more women have accused the comedian of sexually abusing them—Heidi Thomas shared her own story of abuse to CNN just yesterday.
