On the DVD of "Jerry Maquire" Cameron Crowe tells a story about her. Crowe says he approached her and told her that a scene from the movie was a tribute to her tv show; "My So Called Life." Her respnse was along the lines of "A duh." Tom Cruise turns to Crowe and comments how mocking Crowe might not be the best career move. Crowe remains silent.
