In heartbreaking news, Vulture reports that Dann Florek will also be leaving Law & Order: SVU this season, because this show basically only exists to break your heart, no matter how nice Detective Benson's hair gets with each passing season.

His Cragen character mentioned leaving on the show weeks ago (the episode with Munch's retirement) because he was coming up on his mandatory retirement (I think he said mandatory retirement).
