Plain and simple: Mean people need Jesus. They will be in my prayers tonight... 1 Peter 2:1-25

Whatever helps her sleep at night.
I do think she was unfairly cast because it was clear she wasn't up to it. I mean, whose great idea was it to put her in there with Audra McDonald? That woman is Broadway royalty. It's the equivalent of throwing a house cat into a lion enclosure and expecting the cat to hold its own.
It reminded me of this favourite
I think NBC knew full well that half the people who watched would be her fans with the rest all hate watching. Smart move. That debacle was a huge ratings hit for them.
Ahhhhh fair point my friend. Fair point.
Carrie Underwood needs to get a grip. Her special had crazy high ratings for this day and age, and it seems to me the general consensus among critics was that the girl indeed can sing, and she should stick to that because she's flat as an actress. I don't recall seeing anything equating this to a Titanic-sized disaster. You can't have everything, sweetie pie. Some people just have settle for being beautiful, wealthy, talented singers (if that's your scene - and I admit I like both "Before He Cheats" and "Last Name" well enough, if not everything she does). Maybe she thought this was her Jennifer Hudson/And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going moment, but praying to Jesus isn't going to make people think you have a talent you don't. Maybe you should pray for him to make you a better actress instead, Carrie.
Well. If 'haters got to hate' I don't see what is wrong for praying for them.
Jesus ain't going to help that girl. She cannot act. Period. End. Never could - never will. Send her back to country, she can sing to her horse.
