Just in case you forgot Disney is making some new Star Wars movies, the company's CEO has a reminder for you: there is a new trilogy coming. And some spinoffs. More spinoffs than you can possibly imagine.

CEO Bob Iger announced on Tuesday that in addition to Star Wars: Episodes VII, VIII, and IX, Disney has "at least three" spinoff movies in the works. Information is hard to come by, but in previous allusions to standalone movies Iger has said that they would be released in the years between tentpole trilogy installments.

Previously only two spinoff "origin story films", reportedly focused on Han Solo and Boba Fett, have been announced. With even more of those stories now on the table, fans are gunning for a Yoda movie or possibly a deeper look at Darth Maul.

The approach closely mirrors Disney's other plan for continued domination, in which the company releases several new Marvel films every year. Get ready for Iron Man vs. the Stormtroopers. It's only a matter of time.
