Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and her family are trying to move on after the cancellation of their TLC show due to Mama June's alleged relationship with the man who molested her daughter Anna, but it's not going very well. This week, Honey Boo Boo recorded a new music video with her mom, dad, and sister Pumpkin, and told them they were "horrible" at doing the Honey Boo Boo Bop.

TMZ reports that Alana's burgeoning music career, already a bad and forced idea, may be over before it starts. TLC, which has already paid the family for the unaired 4th season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, as well as covering "tutoring and health insurance," could sue if Mama June continues trying to profit from her obese daughter's image before the contract ends this summer.

Mama June has reportedly been shopping a new Honey Boo Boo show to other networks.

Meanwhile, it's a good thing Alanna has health insurance, because she's 60 pounds overweight and has serious asthma. The Boo Boo clan appeared on The Doctors Wednesday for a lecture about making sure Alanna eats better and moves around more to reduce her weight and fight inflammation.

Boo Boo herself is on board—she's shown talking about how excited she is to be healthy, and even trying to ride a bike for the first time—but Mama June is, as the Doctors say, "in denial."

"I'm looking forward to us doing some, like, things that could help me and stuff," Alanna said. Which is the Saddest Thing, because it seems like there's very little chance of that happening as long as she's the family's tragic little 9-year-old breadwinner.

Seems like that Onion article gets closer to reality with every news item about the Boo Boos.
