Remember when American hero Jamie Lynn Spears broke up a fight at a Louisiana Pita Pit with a huge knife last month? TMZ got the security footage from that night.

The video below shows Britney's kid sister pulling her friend out of the fight and then dashing behind the counter to get the knife. God knows what she was yelling at the time, but she managed to scare off the pack of brawling men while a beanie-clad employee called for help.

May God smile upon Jamie Lynn so long as she lives.
