Former “High School Musical” star and Bongo girl Vanessa Hudgens was starring in the Broadway production of Gigi for two whole months until the show closed this past weekend. What should have been Hudgens’ triumphant final bow was ruined, however, by a fucking idiot understudy who threw her off.

After four minutes of questions about Tony Stark and two very tense, very awkward minutes of questions about his “dark periods,” Robert Downey, Jr. stood up and bailed on an interview with Channel 4’s Krishnan Guru-Murthy. But not before telling Guru-Murthy he’s “kind of a schmuck.”

Walking into the event, the men at the escalators were quick to ask, "Do you want to do the red carpet? Because if you want to do the red carpet, you must go downstairs." Down an escalator and through the hall, the red carpet—a thing one might do—sat in between two sliding glass doors. It looked like red Astroturf and was flanked by cheap lattice covered in faux moss. The rug seemed ashamed. The reporters lining the carpet were largely of the "local news" variety. No one cares about the Writers Guild Awards.
