Aleksander Chan · 10/13/14 10:51AMDid Saturday Night Live Rip Off This Sketch From the Groundlings?
Aleksander Chan · 10/06/14 12:04PMMembers of the Groundlings improv comedy troupe have accused Saturday Night Live—where a number of Groundlings alums have gone on to be cast members and hosts—of stealing a sketch idea that aired during this past Saturday's episode with host Sarah Silverman.

Breakdowns: These Are The Black Women That Might Be On SNL
Beejoli Shah · 12/17/13 12:07PMThe parade of black women through 30 Rock's Studio 8H will soon be drawing to a close as Lorne Michaels is zeroing in on who he will add to the cast; what was supposed to be a commercial for The Secret Life of Walter Mitty turned into something much more poignant; the new season of Archer is almost upon us, and thank god; and humor pieces on the economics of Middle Earth should generally try to be, well, humorous.
Breakdowns: The House Of Cards Season Two Trailer Will Give You Chills
Beejoli Shah · 12/13/13 10:09AMThe road to absolute power is paved with hypocrisy…and casualties. The Hollywood Reporter Doesn't Know Who The German Chancellor Is
Beejoli Shah · 11/03/13 09:42PMThe Hollywood Reporter is currently under the impression that German chancellor Angela Merkel is named Andrea Merkel, despite Merkel's correct, Old Norse-deity given name being written in big letters on the Saturday Night Live video they embedded. I get this though, because if you're not repped by CAA or WME, do you even really exist?
Kenan Thompson Thinks Black Women Aren't Funny Enough for SNL
Beejoli Shah · 10/15/13 03:17PMTwo point nine percent. In 38 years, a mere 2.9% of Saturday Night Live's cast has been both female and black. But according to a man who played Pierre Escargot on national television for half a decade, the reason Saturday Night Live has no black women on air is because black women aren't good enough to be on SNL.
