The lost son of the Kardashian family, Rob, was apparently not informed that his stepfather Caitlyn Jenner would be debuting her new look on the cover of Vanity Fair until after the fact. When Rob’s sister Kim sent him a photo of the cover, he replied, “Who is this woman?”

The watershed profile that accompanies Caitlyn Jenner’s debut on the cover of Vanity Fair paints a picture of a woman who is happy, healthy, and “finally free” to live her life on her terms. But of course, the path to liberation was long, winding, and hard—and not everything in Jenner’s personal life is perfect.

Caitlyn Jenner, the Olympic athlete and Kardashian parent formerly known as Bruce, made her debut on the cover of Vanity Fair today, shot by Annie Leibowitz. This is the first time she has appeared in public as a woman, and damn, she looks great.

Vanity Fair, an airport magazine that throws an Oscar party with a "famously tight guest list," published an article bragging about how much booze was consumed / money was wasted at their Sunday night tent party. They also sent out an email press blast ("OSCAR PARTY BY THE NUMBERS") to encourage everyone to witness—and presumably write about—the excess. And so we shall.

In October, when Gwyneth Paltrow threw a temper tantrum over a then-upcoming Vanity Fair profile, gossip was that the actress and aspirational-lifestyle sage was upset about rumors of marital infidelity. At the time, Page Six speculated that the actress was trying to hide a purported affair with Elle MacPherson's husband—the Miami billionaire Jeff Soffer.

So much for an "epic takedown." The March Hollywood issue of Vanity Fair has arrived, and while it was rumored to contain a glorious hit piece on Gwyneth Paltrow, it turns out the magazine only features a disappointing exploration of Paltrow's Hollywood "hate/love-fest" written by contributing editor Vanessa Grigoriadis.
