TLC has opted to cancel their hit Here Comes Honey Boo Boo in the wake of news that the show's matriarch, June Shannon, is in a relationship with a convicted child molester, TMZ reports. The network had already filmed an entire new season of episodes; none of them will air.

TMZ reported yesterday that Shannon had entered into a relationship with Mark McDaniel, who was convicted in 2004 and served 10 years in prison for forcing oral sex on an eight-year-old. McDaniel was released in March. The child McDaniel molested is a relative of Shannon's.

"Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority. TLC is faithfully committed to the children's ongoing comfort and well-being," the network told TMZ.

TLC will also reportedly pay for tutors and counselors for the show's kids.

Update, 11:45 a.m.: The network has confirmed TMZ's report to Entertainment Weekly—the show is over.
