I'd also suggest watching Betas on Amazon Prime Instant Video and Generation Cryo on MTV.com. Both wasted many hours of my life this week and both were surprisingly interesting.

They're really pushing Betas. I was wondering about it. Under the Dome and Falling Skies both kept Mr. Owl up all night long binging. I haven't watched them yet though.

I really really enjoyed Betas. And they're quick and easy to binge. 11 episodes and 9 will be up today. At around 30 minutes each, it's a pretty fast, fun ride. It might be contrived at times, but some of the writing is really really good.

I'm also told to watch Top of the Lake on Netflix. It comes highly recommended.
