Community creator Dan Harmon spoke on panel about the show's sixth season this week at Comic-Con, with writer Chris McKenna and cast members Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash, and Dino Stamatopoulos.

The AP reports that Harmon offered a few details about the show's upcoming season, which was rumored to begin streaming on Yahoo in the fall. He confirmed that the show won't start until at least Christmas, and that he has "no big, highfalutin plans" for the season:

"My philosophy is [to] attempt to make the same show, and let the lack of boundaries make themselves felt ... I don't want to take the wheels off so much that people think, 'Well, this is just some new show.'"

He said he did have some reservations about taking the show online before asking himself, "Does it really matter where we're doing this? I cannot be the one to not do this. Wherever this show is people will find it."

Harmon also confirmed that the show won't be released all at once—rather, it will stick to a weekly, binge-preventing schedule.
