Anna Kendrick Threw a Creepy Fan's Diamond Earring Gift in the Garbage
Good news: Anna Kendrick got the creepy love letter and "for real" diamond earrings you sent to her home address! Bad news: She threw the earrings in the trash, doesn't want to date you, and talked about how weird and scary you are on Marc Maron's podcast this week.
Kendrick (who, I guess, neglected to take you into account when she claimed in June that no one had hit on her in years, I'm so sorry!) told Maron about how fucking weird it was that you got her home address and sent her that expensive gift:
"I got [a gift] with, like, a really long letter about how he really felt like we should be together, and if I would just give him a chance, and he didn't want to do it over social media because he thought that would pressure me because it was public … he [wanted] to be a gentleman. And he, uh, sent me a pair of diamond earrings."
"Get the f*ck out of here," Maron said. "For real ones?"
"For real diamond earrings," Kendrick responded. "I did go and check. And I was just like, these have to go into the trash. I can't. I cannot. I cannot wear them. I can't give them to someone. It's too weird. If the teddy bear goes in the trash, these go in the trash. Just on principle. So, I had to throw them away. If you send something to my house, it's going in the trash."
So I guess the lesson is: Don't seek out Anna Kendrick's home address because you believe that if she'd only give you a chance, she'd see that you two—the famous movie star and the psychopath who found out where she lived—would be perfect for each other. You're wrong!
And I guess the second lesson is: If you do happen to have Anna Kendrick's home address, check to see if she had a trash can designated specifically for unwanted gifts upwards of $1k.
