Nicki Minaj, a rapper and boss, may be engaged to Philadelphia native and rapper Meek Mill. This will be a huge win for the city of Philadelphia, as well as for Mill (AKA Robert Williams), who is 27 and seems really nice! But is it true or is Nicki just fucking with us? Let's investigate the evidence.

Minaj is currently on a world tour to promote her album The Pinkprint. On Sunday, Minaj was in Glasgow for her last European date and, according to Instagram, she returned back to the States on or around Monday or Tuesday. On Tuesday night, Nicki posted this photo to Instagram with the caption, "Those Miami nights [palm tree emoji]".

At first glance? Nothing odd. Two people in love standing in front of a Lamborghini. Weird shorts on Meek, but so it goes. But wha wha — WHAT is on Nicki's left ring finger?

A big old diamond.

After causing quite a controversy in the comments of her Instagram, the next day Nicki updated her Twitter with this status:
