One of Hollywood’s great mysteries may have finally been solved. Did celebrity chef Bobby Flay once have an affair with professional blonde person January Jones? According to divorce documents allegedly filed by Flay’s ex-wife and one-time fictional attorney Stephanie March, the answer is: yes, everywhere and all the time!

The suspicions about the nature of the relationship between Flay and Jones began back in 2010, when Jones crashed her Range Rover into three parked cars and then proceeded to call, of all people in Los Angeles and the world, celebrity chef Bobby Flay. Why did January Jones call Bobby Flay? Bobby Flay very much wanted you to know at the time that he really had no idea:

We spoke with Flay, who tells us he was watching the basketball game last night at The London West Hollywood Hotel with a group of people that included Jones. Flay says he saw her drink a beer but wasn’t really watching her alcohol intake. Flay says he had only met Jones once before, and last night she asked for his number because she wanted to redo her kitchen and give his number to her designer. Flay obliged, and says he doesn’t know why Jones chose to call him after the crash, but nonetheless he drove over to help her.

Nobody officially, unequivocally knew why January Jones, when quickly assessing how to deal with a publicly embarrassing car accident that looked like it might have been a DUI decided to call a celebrity chef she was allegedly barely acquainted with, but—really—everybody knew why. In 2011, ABC News, one of the news organizations tasked with keeping the American public informed about their country, ran a slideshow called “Top 5 Prime Suspects For January Jones’ Baby Daddy.” Fourth on that list of potential criminals was celebrity chef Bobby Flay:

Sure, grillmaster Bobby Flay seems like a long shot to be Jones’ baby daddy.

Then again it was odd when Flay was the person Jones called for help after she crashed her Range Rover into several parked cars in June. For one thing, Flay is married to actress Stephanie March.

An odd thing, indeed. The story laid dormant until recently when, according to InTouch Weekly, March stated during their acrimonious divorce that Flay and Jones fucked routinely.

Via Daily Mail:

In Touch’s source alleges: ‘Stephanie is claiming in court papers that Bobby committed adultery with January several times during the early months of 2010.

‘She says they had sex many times and in different places, including the London hotel in Los Angeles.’

Watching a basketball game? I’ll say!

According to the Daily News, March asked Flay if he had sex with Jones, to which he replied that he hadn’t. Bobby Flay may be a good or at least famous chef, but, as the divorce papers indicate, he appears to be a bad liar.

What can be learned from this fairytale romance? If you are a famous person having sex with a married famous person, do not call that famous person after you plow into a row of parked cars. Also, don’t marry Bobby Flay.
