Looks like Oliva Pope is the new zombies, because CBS is developing a new drama from CSI showrunner Carol Mendelsohn, and crisis manager Judy Smith, who served as the basis for Scandal's baddest bitch in charge.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the drama The Advocate, from writer Ayelet Waldman, "centers on a former doctor who has found her calling as a medical advocate, where she works on behalf of patients and their loved ones, solving medical crises and mysteries and guaranteeing people the care they deserve."

So, it's Scandal meets Grey's Anatomy. And the entire drama development department at ABC just lost their free entry Disney Silver Passes.
