Cops Reportedly Found Drugs in Bobbi Kristina Brown's Home
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, is reportedly suspected by police to have overdosed on drugs before she was found facedown and unconscious this past Saturday in the bathtub of her Georgia home. Police did not find drugs in their initial search, but family sources now tell TMZ that in a second, more thorough inspection of the home, cops did.
It's unclear exactly what drugs were found in the home and the family has not confirmed substance abuse was what led to Brown reportedly being placed into a medically induced coma.
Brown was discovered unconscious Saturday by her husband, Nick Gordon, and "a friend" the New York Daily News has now identified as Maxwell Lomas, an accused drug dealer who spent three days in jail last month on drug possession charges:
The 24-year-old tree removal crewmember was arrested last month and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of the generic form of anti-anxiety drug Xanax and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, Fulton County Jail records show.
The family said yesterday that Brown is "fighting for her life," with TMZ also reporting that she was responding positively to tests.
