TMZ reports that somebody—and right now, nobody knows who—stole 12 Years a Slave actress Lupita Nyong'o's Oscars dress from her hotel room after the ceremony. The gown, covered in "6,000 white Akoya pearls," is valued at $150,000. Now's the time to come clean: Did you borrow it?

According to TMZ, "Lupita told cops it was taken from her room sometime between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday...while she was gone." What were you doing on Tuesday? Do you remember?

Were you trying on Lupita Nyong'o's Oscars dress, just for a second, feeling the weight of the pearls on your shoulders as you imagined a life much different from your own? Were you swishing the train around in front of the hotel mirror, singing a song you just made up on the spot? Maybe you were looking up three-bedroom homes in Pittsburgh that are currently on the market for $150,000.

If any of this is true, and you did indeed borrow Lupita Nyong'o's Oscars dress, now's the time to give it back. From the way Lupita is handling this (calling the cops), it seems like you didn't ask first before taking it.
