Ed Sheeran is famous for performing acoustic hip hop covers and for comparing his album sales to the much larger album sales of Taylor Swift, as if they were very similar. But do you think you know everything about Ed Sheeran? Well. You do not.

When your legs don’t work like they used to before and I can’t sweep you off of your feet, will your mouth still remember the taste of my love? Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks? Maybe. But in a recent interview with Billboard, Ed Sheeran—who once claimed it would “only be healthy” for him to pass Taylor Swift’s album sales in America, saying, “If I passed her, I think she’d then get more competitive and do more stuff”—all right—good luck, man—revealed a secret that was a little more than just thinkin’ out loud.

Again, we know this about Ed Sheeran: acoustic hip hop covers; mentions Taylor Swift in every interview as if they are both the biggest pop stars in the world rather than just one of them; red hair; face. What we can likely assume: thinks negging works; has listened to at least one Radiohead album; would call himself the “No. 2 biggest-selling artist” compared with Taylor Swift’s “No. 1 biggest-selling artist.”
