I never buy coffee out. I almost never buy lunch. But man, HBO is my favorite indulgence. And I justify it because I act like it's a donation to the cause of good tv and good writing. It helps deal with the sting of the cable bill.

Their programming is amazing. I have had basic cable for about a year now for the first time in my life because it's hitched to my internet plan and I pay extra every month to add HBO.
