If you haven't had your fill of postapocalyptic movies this year, you're in luck: Left Behind is coming out in October. And it takes place during the actual Biblical apocalypse.

Nicolas Cage and Chad Michael Murray both rather unexpectedly star in the latest adaptation of the hit evangelical book series, which was last adapted for film in 2000. That version starred Kirk Cameron. This one will probably be more entertaining.

The first trailer, released today, shows us what happens when Nic Cage the Screaming Airline Pilot is confronted with half his passengers being raptured midflight. There also appears to be plenty of teen angst, evangelizing, and explosions.

The movie comes out October 3.
