Seventeen-year-old Kylie Jenner, the youngest reality star in the Kardashian clan, has been rumored to be dating a much older rapper, Tyga, for weeks now. But last night, Tyga's ex posted pics on Instagram suggesting that she's back together with him. Are Tyga and Kylie just friends? Or is that what Kris Jenner wants you to think?

Kylie Jenner, 17: Reality star, influential teen, hair salesman. Reportedly dating Tyga.

Tyga, 24: Rapper, father, friend of the Kardashians. Reportedly dating Kylie. Broke off his engagement to Blac Chyna, the mother of his two-year-old child King Cairo, in August.

Blac Chyna, 26: Instagram celebrity, mother, BFF to Kylie's sister Kim Kardashian. Also the inspiration for Amanda Bynes's cheek piercings, but that's not relevant here.

The drama itself is unfolding on social media. Tyga first appeared on Kylie's Insta account three months ago, around the time Tyga broke up with Blac Chyna. In September, Tyga vaguely denied that he was dating Kylie on Twitter:

But then Kylie was spotted on Tyga's account last week, with the caption, "Surround yourself with good people. Good hearts, Good souls #LastKings."

Despite these subtle hints at their relationship, Tyga and Kylie still strenuously avoid being photographed together by paparazzi. (The age of consent in California is 18.) Even so, paps have caught the two exiting the same restaurants together multiple times. On Tuesday night, they were spotted on a dinner date in Beverly Hills. That's where Blac Chyna comes in.

On Thursday, she posted a photo of Tyga at their son's birthday party, with the caption, "My family ...."

And then a few hours later, she posted—and then quickly deleted—a more romantic photo:

The caption is a lyric from Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda."

The tabloids immediately picked up on the "messages" Blac Chyna was trying to send with her Instas. TMZ reports, "SEE, TYGA AIN'T DOIN' NOTHIN' WITH KYLIE." E! News asks, "Is Tyga's Ex Trying to Tell Kylie Jenner Something? Blac Chyna Posts Picture With Rapper and Son: 'My Family.'"

So perhaps Blac Chyna and Tyga are back together, or Blac Chyna is just feeling emotional and posted an old photo.

Or: Blac Chyna, a friend of the Kardashians and a person with a vested interest in the well-being of her child's father, is helping to change the narrative regarding Tyga and Kylie's illicit romance. That's one theory!
