Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin Went to Dinner: What Does It Mean?
Two people, one dinner, and a mystery.
Jennifer Lawrence and ex-boyfriend Chris Martin, a man Gwyneth Paltrow sometimes regrets divorcing, have reportedly been spotted together at Martin's home multiple times since their October split. On December 30th, they took their togetherness out to dinner.
People reports the pair was seen at a sushi restaurant in Studio City. A sushi restaurant. In. Studio City. What does it mean? People has some insight into how it seemed their dinner went from a table nearby:
"They were engulfed in their little world of conversation," a fellow diner tells PEOPLE about the "fun" dinner. "They were into each other and not noticing anyone else around them."
Tucked away at a table towards the back of the restaurant, Lawrence, 24, and Martin, 37, "seemed to be just content with each other," says the source. "He was really listening to what she was saying."
"Engulfed in their little world of conversation." How delightful, to be Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin. To be engulfed, to have someone to listen. But why? Why were they out to dinner? Are they getting married? Oh my god. Are they already married? Some theories:
- They're married.
- They both thought they hated sushi, but wanted to make sure.
- Jennifer Lawrence texted Chris Martin the sushi emoji and he was like, "what's that?" And Jennifer Lawrence was like, "Are you serious?" And Chris Martin was like, "I mean. I know it's an emoji or whatever, but like what is the image?" And Jennifer Lawrence was like "...sushi." And Chris Martin was like, "Oh, the Japanese food consisting of cooked vinegared rice (鮨飯, sushi-meshi) combined with other ingredients?" And Jennifer Lawrence was like, "Did you just look up sushi on Wikipedia and paste in what it said?" And Chris Martin typed in a response and then deleted it, so Jennifer Lawrence was like, "Okay, we're getting sushi."
Or I don't know!
