Jessie J, a pop singer whose livelihood depends on the success of her recent collaboration with known diva Ariana Grande, told US Weekly last night that Ariana Grande is not a diva. "Not at all," she said. Nooope, definitely not a diva, please don't kill me, Suspected Serial Killer Ariana Grande.

Jessie J, who's known for literally nothing but being on a song with Ariana Grande and one time having a broken leg at the VMAs, elaborated:

I always say, judge a person when you meet them. I've met Ariana, and there's a very thin line between "diva" and "survival." And a lot of people can't [differentiate that]—and I've had that. I've had the diva stuff. And it's when people can't cope with how passionate you are, and how much you care.

So the rumor that Ariana Grande is so difficult even her life coach can't work with her is just about, erm, survival. Ditto with the rumor that she was a "monster" about her hair during a Marie Claire photo shoot. Samesies re: that time she said she hopes all her fans "fucking die."

Jessie J, whose rent check is due on the 15th, managed to compliment Ariana Grande in addition to dispelling those pesky diva rumors.

She's super talented, she's very young, and she's very sure of what she wants. I think she's wonderful. She's great.

So great. Honest. Ariana Grande, you are great and NOT a diva, Amen.
