Yesterday, Us Weekly published an "exclusive interview" with Kendall Jenner on the subject of Bruce Jenner, claiming it was the first time she'd spoken publicly about his transition. "I will always love my dad, whether he's a man or a woman," she told the magazine—or did she?

Us Weekly claims the interview took place backstage at Comedy Central's roast of Justin Bieber. The quotes sound, at least, rehearsed, and not particularly Kendall Jenner-y:

"I love my dad. He's always been there for me and my sisters. He's a wonderful man. And just because he's changing shoes now, so to speak, doesn't make him less wonderful. I will always love my dad, whether he's a man or a woman."

Hmm. Now, Kendall has taken to Twitter, claiming she didn't speak to the magazine at all:

Hmm. A mystery! Where did the quotes come from? Kendall Jenner still, or some disgusting nobody? Did her "people" email those quotes to Us Weekly and forget to CC: Kendall? Did Us Weekly, normally a fairly reliable gossip source if there is such a thing, make them up in a moment of out-of-character boldness?

Hmmm...
