Miley Cyrus, balancing remarkably well on the line between oh brother and uh-oh, reportedly had a recent "public meltdown" at New York City's Greenwich Hotel.

Life and Style reports that Miley, recently seen peeing on a tree, was up to Miley stuff in the lobby of the hotel where she reportedly stayed last week:

"It was like a tornado hit the lobby. Miley and her posse took over, screaming and carrying on so much that management received a number of complaints."

And the insider explains hotel guests and staff were appalled to see someone in the group was smoking pot. "It was the kind of bad behavior you'd expect from a bunch of juvenile delinquents," the insider adds.

Hold on. You're telling me that management received "a number of complaints" when a group of children raised on fame, wealth, and for sure drugs (or leeching off of someone raised on fame, wealth, and for sure drugs) hung out in their lobby? And we're just hearing about this now? Go on...:

But when management tried to nicely ask Miley to tone things down...

Uh-huh...

...the "We Can't Stop" singer had a public meltdown.

No!

"She started screaming at them and saying that she's spent so much money there that they should be glad to have her," the insider says.

Uh-huh...

"She basically threw a tantrum and acted like a spoiled brat."

That's basically what it sounds like to me, too!

So. Don't let Miley Cyrus stay at your hotel, I guess? Give everyone a free room. Give me a free room, I'll stay there and write a glowing TripAdvisor about it. "Miley Cyrus was there and you couldn't even tell."
