Months after Paula Patton and Robin Thicke announced their separation, Patton has finally formally filed for divorce. So sorry, Robin, my man! Did she give Paula one last spin, just to make sure? Can you call her and ask?

The news adds to what seems like clear "be careful what you wish for" fable fulfillment on Thicke's behalf, after his summer Paula Patton apology album Paula sold roughly zero-ish copies, and following so closely behind his admission to lying about his role in the creation of "Blurred Lines."

People reports Patton cited "irreconcilable differences" and filed for divorce in Los Angeles on October 3.
