Look to your left. Look to your right. One of those people just may be: Scarlett Johansson.

Maybe you think you’ve seen Scarlett Johansson before, in pictures and moving pictures. Maybe you think you’ve lived your whole life without ever coming into direct personal contact with Scarlett Johansson. Maybe you think you haven’t seen her yet, but certainly if she were around you would be able to identify her—she is a famous actor and Tom Waits cover artist, after all.

But the fact is you’re wrong on all counts.

—Or you could be right.

Page Six reports Scarlett Johansson, qamouflage queen, went almost completely unnoticed during a recent performance of Hand to God, which she saw with Foxcatcher director Bennett Miller. How did she do it? Hah—wouldn’t you like to know.

This is how:

Spies at “Hand to God” said ScarJo was in “large glasses and black bowler hat” over a bob [haircut]...

Incredible. George Takei was in the audience, too, cloaked only in his trademark “George Takei” costume.

But surely, even though George Takei was also in the audience, a situation would never arise in which a woman would ask Scarlett Johansson to move out of the way in order to get a picture with George Takei, a lesser celebrity, you might be thinking.

Oh, you little fool:

After the show, “Takei was swarmed by adoring fans. Scarlett even got out of the way when a woman who didn’t recognize her asked her to move so [the woman] could meet George.”

Asked Scarlett Johansson...to move?! Maybe right now you’re judging this woman. Maybe you’re thinking, well, if she was gonna ask the one celebrity for a pic, why didn’t she ask the other celebrity for a pic? Maybe you’re thinking now that you would be able to do a better job of discerning among theatergoers who was and who was not Scarlett Johansson.

Yeah right. I mean—give it a shot, buddy:
