The BAFTA nominations were announced early Wednesday and Gravity leads the pack with 12 nominations, followed by 12 Years a Slave and American Hustle with 10 each. The nominees for best picture are 12 Years a Slave, American Hustle, Captain Phillips, Gravity, and Philomena.

Totally. Personally, I don't get the American Hustle fuss because I found it to be relatively disappointing.

Excellent. I will continue on my path of watching only one award-nominated movie and rooting solely for that due to lack of basis for comparison. Gravity it is!
