Taylor Swift, proud owner of 37 best friends, does not seem like the most difficult queen bee to impress. If you are kind of famous or a model or Haim or 16 or 45 she’ll invite you on vacation with her. She’s friends with Jaime King! And someone from “Fifth Harmony.” But there is one cool, pretty white woman Taylor Swift will not hang out with:

Elizabeth Olsen.

It sounds crazy, because when you search for Elizabeth Olsen on Pinterest, you get roughly 1000 photos of her desirable “lob” haircut. How is Elizabeth Olsen not someone Taylor Swift is friends with already?

According to Elizabeth, Elizabeth blew it. She explained on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Wednesday night* that she met Taylor at a birthday party recently, and Taylor was not impressed:

I just talked at her for like a long time. I think I blew it because we didn’t exchange phone numbers or anything.

What did Elizabeth say to her? Oh, just that she was dancing to Taylor Swift songs in her ballet class. “I really love her, and earlier in my ballet class, I was doing a dance sequence to her music,” she explained.

Imagine Taylor Swift talking to a famous blonde woman about 1) ballet and 2) herself and then walking away like, “no thanks.”
