There weren't a lot of non-Beyoncé related talked-about moments at this year's VMAs, but one that came sort of close was Nicki Minaj's wardrobe malfunction during the show's (great) opening performance. But was that almost-talked-about-but-not blooper planned all along?

TMZ reports that Nicki had the same wardrobe problem during rehearsal, leading some to believe that she planned the malfunction from the beginning! Oh my god. NICKI! From TMZ:

Eyewitnesses who watched Nicki's rehearsal Sunday morning tell TMZ … she walked on stage wearing the same dress — unzipped. One eyewitness says it caught her eye because she initially thought Nicki had come out in a robe.

We're told Nicki was wrapping her arms around the dress in a "weird" sort of way … trying to manipulate it to see how much would be exposed.

And we're told … the VMAs created a make-shift dressing room right off stage — draped with black sheets — so she would have enough time to change.

Hmm. Have we been duped? Did we almost talk about something under the illusion that it was a mistake, when it was in fact not a mistake at all, rather it was something that was practiced at least once in front of several eyewitnesses? Did you think, "Wait. Is that a mistake...or?" for no reason at all? DID YOU WASTE A TWEET?

Most importantly: Are you talking about it now?
