Gwyneth Paltrow "Psyched" to Fight Martha Stewart to the Death
Last night at the Most Powerful Women Summit in Laguna Niguel, California, Most Powerful Woman Gwyneth Paltrow clapped back at one Martha Stewart, who suggested last month that Gwyn should "be quiet." Gwyn's "psyched," honestly, to perfectly butcher Stewart and serve her up on a $300 carving board.
To recap, Stewart told The New York Post last month, "[Paltrow] just needs to be quiet. She's a movie star. If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn't be trying to be Martha Stewart."
Last night, feeling invigorated after huffing kale fumes from her Vitamix, Paltrow issued a challenge. She told Us Weekly,
If I'm really honest, I'm so psyched that she sees us as competition. I'm so psyched. I really am.
She's so psyched. Honestly. Psyched to boil that B up with heirloom tomatoes, 4 garlic cloves, and 1 yellow onion, sliced. Psyched to dice her up and toss her with artichokes and quinoa rigatoni. Psyched to deep fry her and throw her on top of gluten-free waffles. Just all around super duper psyched.
This week, Gwyn announced that she hired Lisa Hersh, Martha's former president and CEO, to be CEO of Goop. The death match begins.
