Merely one month after signing with evil agency overlords CAA, the duo that made you hate love have sold the movie rights to their 40 Days of Dating blog to Warner Brothers.

Upon signing with the Death Star, blog co-creator Timothy Goodman made repeat assurances to me in that he and co-creator Walsh would not just be selling out simply for the sake of the entertainment business coming knocking, yet here we are in a little over a month. After a whirlwind tour of television and movie studios, the notoriously on-again off-again best friends decided the feature route was the best way to go, despite a seminal 40 Days rom-com already existing (miss you Josh Hartnett!). The deal was "chased down" by Warners Brother VP Sarah Schechter who will hopefully develop this project with all the contrived angst it mined over the course of the blog rollout.

Curse me all you want for approaching this development deal with a bitterness only rivaled by Goodman's disdain for Walsh's feelings over the course of the 40 day experiment, but when you take a multi-week break from putting up posts on the site you're trying to sell simply because you're too busy trying to sell it, it's hard to believe that your sale isn't just a complete sell-out.
