Jessica Simpson put married people on blast last night when she posted a black-and-white photo of her husband on Instagram with the caption, “My husband is hotter than yours!” Ouch.

She issued this far-reaching burn as a means of wishing her husband a “happy birthday.” Simpson continued in the caption, “Happy Birthday Eric Maxwell Johnson! You forever make me lust. [tongue emoji]”

A commenter responded: “no he’s not but happy birthday to him anyway.”

This is not the first time Simpson has bragged about her husband’s physique online. In February, she posted a series of Instagrams suggesting her husband was hotter than Christian Grey, the sex character from Fifty Shades of Grey, with the hashtag #FiftyShadesofJohnson.

Johnson is a former NFL tight end and Simpson’s second husband. The two were married in front of 275 guests at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Calif., last year. They have two children together.
