After staying completely silent for a torturously long period of one year, John Travolta finally broke his legendary silence on his gaffe from last year's Oscars. It turns out that he didn't call Idina Menzel "Adel Dazeem" because he just figured it couldn't be that hard to introduce an award show performance, but because he was distracted by a "charismatic, sexy, beautiful" woman (Goldie Hawn).

Travolta swung by Jimmy Kimmel's post-Oscars pranktopia last night and explained to him that he fucked up Menzel's name last year for several reasons, but the most important one is that he loves women as sexual beings:

As I get backstage, I run into Goldie Hawn. Now, Goldie Hawn is charismatic, sexy, beautiful, got the amazing... thing. And I was starstruck. I'm starstruck hugging and loving her up and forgetting that I have to go and do this bit.

Spoken like a true and definite straight sex-haver.
