Kim Richards, whose battle with alcoholism has been a recurring plot point on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has been officially charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest, and battery on a cop following a drunken incident at the Beverly Hills hotel on April 16.

According to TMZ, Kim was acting “belligerent” that night at the Polo Lounge, and when she was asked to leave, she locked herself in a bathroom. According to reports, cops had to drag her out, and she allegedly kicked one of them. Court documents obtained by Us Weekly note that Kim was “under the influence of intoxicating liquor and a drug, a controlled substance, and toluene” at the time of her arrest. Toulene is a common solvent found in paint thinners, nail polish, and other household products.

TMZ notes that Kim could, in a worst-case scenario, serve two and a half years in prison for her alleged crimes. She would not be the first Real Housewife to spend time behind bars, of course—that honor goes to New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice.

Kim shot an episode of Dr. Phil and checked into a Malibu rehab center following the incident.
