Three agonizing weeks ago, we learned the terrible (possible) truth that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are taking a break from their relationship. We thought we knew it all, then—Us Weekly reported the pair was fighting “a lot” and hadn’t seen each other recently. But as with everything in Hollywood, the more you think you know, the more you see Emma Stone walking around carrying a bag with Andrew Garfield’s name on it.

It’s true. Aunt Em was spotted yesterday exiting the office of the stylist she and Andrew share carrying a paper bag. A paper bag that clearly has A-N-D-R-E-W (line break) G-A-R-F-I-E-L-D written on it.

There are a few things this public display of name could mean:

1. Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield never took a break at all; Emma is just running errands for her boyfriend as she should

2. Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are on a break; Emma is preparing to give him all his stuff back, some of which was housed at the stylist’s office

3. “It was just a paper bag.” -Fiona Apple

OR

4. The stylist meant to write “Emma Stone” on the bag, but she accidentally wrote “Andrew Garfield” #fired
