Jennifer Aniston did not receive an Oscar nomination for Best Actress yesterday, but her friends Reese Witherspoon and Julianne Moore did. That's fine. Reese's and Julianne's nominations do not take away from the hard work that Jen did on her film Cake—really. Jen is fine.

At the Critic's Choice Awards last night, Jen told Us Weekly that she's O.K. with the fact that she didn't get nominated. "I'd be lying if there wasn't a little [aw]," she said. "But after that there's a lot of, 'but look at tonight, look at the Globes, look at the SAGs!'"

(Jen won neither the Golden Globe nor the Critic's Choice Award in her category—both of those went to Julianne Moore. The SAGs are in two weeks.)

Jen says that despite any perceived losses, her friends have stood by her. "[Reese] sent me such a sweet email [after the Oscar nomination announcement], as did Julianne," she said. "They are all amazing women, but you know, we're all rooting for each other and it doesn't take away the work that was done. So it's really, really nice."
