Country star Jason Aldean's tour bus hit and killed a man who wandered into its path last night. While Aldean wasn't driving, doesn't seem like great form for your biggest hit to proudly boast about the ice cold beer you keep cracked in your center console.

Here's A Unreleased Star Wars Blooper Reel

Beejoli Shah · 10/28/13 01:47PM

While Star Wars fans are in debate on whether J.J. Abrams can do service to the upcoming reboot, here's something we all can agree on enjoying: never before seen bloopers from the original films. Clumsy storm troopers? Harrison Ford eating his microphone? Yes, please.

Breakdowns: HBO's New True Detective Trailer Is Bad-Ass

Beejoli Shah · 10/28/13 11:26AM

True Detective looks more like true sex (with some grisly murder stuff sprinkled in); Jason Sudeikis knocked up Oliva Wilde (and women across America now hate Olivia Wilde); Paramount is suing Brad Pitt because they didn't believe in him (twice, now, for anyone keeping count); and Netflix blames movie theaters for hating Netflix because they're all not Netflix.

Mike Fleming Brutally Maligns Nikki Finke In The Battle For Deadline

Beejoli Shah · 10/25/13 08:08PM

Tired as we all may be about seeing the words Nikki Finke and Deadline appear on this website today, Deadline's Mike Fleming Jr. has shot back at Finke. In a mildly interesting but slightly expected turn of events, Fleming sells his boss down the river in his latest blog post, proving that good friends do indeed stab you in the front. Who knew that Finke would come out as today's winner in the battle for the moral high ground?

TheWrap Aims at Anonymous Scandal Blogger; Hits Her Roommate

Beejoli Shah · 10/25/13 05:32PM

In the biggest scandal to rock Oliva Pope's nation since we found out you-know-who was the one running you-know-what, and was the one who had ordered the other you-know-who to be held captive you-know-where, The Wrap reported earlier this week that a popular and controversial Scandal blogger was actually an employee of ABC named Courtney Pajor. They backtracked today, releasing a statement from ABC, that the blogger was actually an old roommate of Pajor's.

Deadline's Nikki Finke On Jay Penske: He "Owns Me Like I'm His Slave"

Beejoli Shah · 10/24/13 10:56PM

Nikki Finke is not leaving Deadline quietly. In fact, according to my exclusive conversation with her on Thursday night, she's leaving amidst a litany of accusations ranging from boredom to slavery. According to Finke, "[Penske] owns me like I'm his slave" and has been harassing her. She goes on to say that the current iteration of Deadline is "bland and boring," and that Penske's working conditions are "breaking federal and state law."

Why Is Talent Agency WME So Obsessed With Rival CAA?

Beejoli Shah · 10/24/13 04:06PM

William Morris Endeavor—run by Ari Emanuel, the real-life inspiration for Jeremy Piven's twitchy Ari Gold on Entourage—empirically speaking, is a very good agency. So good, in fact, that their work speaks for itself: WME is a fairly well-known acronym, even outside the industry. So why is WME spending all their time bashing CAA, instead of just doing their damn jobs?

NBC is remaking Murder, She Wrote with Octavia Spencer taking on Angela Lansbury's role. The modern twist? Spencer's character self-publishes her own novels. 99 cents on Kindle Fire, anyone?

Breakdowns: Bill Murray Was Only Paid $9,000 For Rushmore

Beejoli Shah · 10/24/13 12:15PM

Getting Bill Murray to do your movie only costs a tiny bit more than getting him to come to your kegger; There's a happy ending for Eliza Coupe (sorry, sorry); Sean Hayes is the last person to realize having a show on NBC actually is worse than having no show at all; The Scandal recaps are coming from within the building.

Out Of 45 Hollywood New Leaders, Variety Only Found Two Black People

Beejoli Shah · 10/23/13 05:09PM

This morning, Variety released its annual "New Leaders list"—a who's who of Hollywood's rising executives that's really just a testament to the power of a good in-house corporate communications specialist. But something seems to be missing. They have six legal and finance executives, 12 agents, another six digital developers, three film execs, six television suits, two managers, and ten rising assistants. Yet out of 45 featured people, only two are black.

Here's A Leaked Trailer For Paramount's Troubled Biblical Epic Noah

Beejoli Shah · 10/22/13 06:03PM

A trailer for Paramount Pictures upcoming film Noah, based on the biblical tale of the world's most famous boat, has leaked online this afternoon. Though it will likely be pulled down quickly by Paramount, who did not immediately respond to my request for a comment, you can catch the shaky version here.

According to Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz, Jeremy Piven was his first choice for the role of Michael Bluth. The future Ari Gold would have almost had it, if Jason Bateman hand't nailed his audition. The Week reports that and other revelations from Hurwitz's chat at yesterday's New York Television Festival.

CBS' Christmas Gift To You Is Two I Love Lucy Episodes In Color

Beejoli Shah · 10/22/13 04:09PM

After years of stealing all the presents from the children of Whoville (or, well, carriage fees from Time Warner Cable and storylines from The Good Wife), network television Grinch CBS' heart is growing, just in time for the holiday season. The network will be airing two back-to-back episodes of I Love Lucy, remastered in "vintage" color as an appropriately titled "I Love Lucy Christmas Special."
